Our goal is to train the next generation of civic leaders: members of a community who actively participate in society.
Students will work on developing a persuasive and well-reasoned editorial (op-ed style) article on a topic of interest to them.
Students will receive practice and instruction on developing good public speaking habits and crafting a rhetorically powerful speech.
Each week students will discuss topics directly pertaining to the students, as well as, national, global, and futuristic topics.
Students will be exposed to topics in philosophy, psychology, economics, sociology, history, civics, statistics, and more!
